Our Team

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our team.

 President and General Manager: Steven C Leonard

Steve founded Sturon Nursery Inc., in May of 1993. He has been involved in all facets of the Industry from retail to wholesale since 1979. Having worked for a few different wholesale growers, he has tried to emulate the best from each of them and made Sturon what it is today.

 Sales Manager: John Martin

John joined Sturon in December 2006. He is involved in all  aspects of sales. He has been involved in the Industry since 1982 having owned and run two successful businesses before joining us. We are thrilled to have him leading our sales team.

 National Sales Representative: Janis Stacy

Janis joined Sturon in Septemberl 2008. She comes to us with fifteen years of experience in plant industry ranging from transportation to sales. Customer service is her #1 priority.

 Buyer and Quality Control Manager: Ambro Gibson

Ambro joined Sturon in September 2003. She comes to us with over twenty years of experience as a buyer for a local interiorscape company. She also helps in sales with our export customers.

 Office Administrator: Patty Wilson

Patty joined Sturon in November 2006. She comes to us with over twenty years of experience in administration and customer service. She is the often the first person you speak with when calling us. She is also in charge of our liner freight from Apopka.

 Bookkeeper and Credit Manager: Inge Leonard

Inge joined Sturon in January 1995. She comes to us with over thirty years experience in credit and banking. She handles all of our accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit. We are lucky to have her.

 Shipping Manager: Cesar Pedraza

Cesar joined Sturon in May 1996. He comes to us with experience in many fields.

He handles the routing of all trucks and drivers. He also in charge of separating all of our brokered plants and making sure they go to the correct customer.

Truck Driver: Ruben Manresa

Ruben joined Sturon in October 1997. He comes to us from the automotive field. He delivers to most of our customers in Florida weekly. He may be the friendliest driver in the state of Florida.

 Truck Driver: Julio Cortes

Julio joined Sturon in October 2004. He comes to us with a few years of trucking experience. He delivers to many of our customers in Florida weekly. He really enjoys the long hauls.
